Terms & Conditions
Article 1 — Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Avel Rent SAS and its customers for the rental of prestige vehicles.
Article 2 — Rental conditions
To rent a vehicle from Avel Rent, the renter must: • Be at least 25 years old • Hold a valid driving license for at least 3 years • Present a valid ID document • Provide proof of address less than 3 months old • Have a credit card for the security deposit
Article 3 — Booking & payment
The booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total rental amount. The balance is due at vehicle pickup. A security deposit will also be required, the amount of which varies depending on the vehicle.
Article 4 — Cancellation
In case of cancellation: • More than 7 days before: full refund of the deposit • Between 3 and 7 days: 50% refund of the deposit • Less than 3 days: deposit non-refundable
Article 5 — Insurance
All our vehicles are fully insured. An excess remains the renter's responsibility in case of an at-fault claim. The excess amount varies by vehicle and will be communicated at the time of booking.
Article 6 — Vehicle usage
The renter agrees to: • Use the vehicle reasonably and in compliance with traffic laws • Not sublease or lend the vehicle to a third party • Not use the vehicle for competitions or racing • Not smoke in the vehicle • Return the vehicle with the same fuel level
Article 7 — Mileage
Each rental includes limited mileage (generally 250 km/day). Any additional kilometer will be charged at the applicable rate for the vehicle.
Article 8 — Disputes
In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution. Failing agreement, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
